The Newbury Boston Wedding | Winnie and Steve

… what tb couples are saying …

The first time that I met Tati was on August 22, 2019! As soon as I saw her in the lobby of the W Hotel in downtown, looking as chic as ever with 4 inch heels and donning a fedora hat, I just knew that we would hit it off LOL :) She was outwardly fab, and from our first conversation I immediately realized how inwardly passionate she was about photography. Talking to her that day and looking through her work, I was blown away with how incredibly talented she was, but equally impressed with how important her relationships with her clients are to her. As many others have said in their reviews, Tati is a true friend, professional, photographer fairy-godmother, and a genuinely kind and caring person. From our first engagement shoot, helping us cope through COVID plans and re-planning, our surprise 2nd engagement photo shoot, and our wedding day, our memories with Tati will last a lifetime and we will be forever grateful to her for everything she has done. Two days ago, we received our full wedding album and the way that Tati captured all of the many emotions we felt that day was amazing. The photos were elegant, timeless, beautiful, and inviting, just like Tati. I’ve been so pleased with our choice in our photographer that I have also recommended Tati to my family members and friends. Hands down, she is the person to pick to capture your life’s memorable moments and you will not be disappointed. Tati, thank you thank you thank you for everything!!”

The Newbury Boston Wedding

Hi there,

The Newbury Hotel wedding for Winnie and Steve was sophisticated, elegant and classic. Wanting to be close to their family and make it very convenient, Winnie and Steve chose something right in the city. The Newbury Hotel was the juxtaposition of both old and new. They fell in love with the Boston location of this historic hotel and immediately knew it was just the place for their magical day.

Getting Ready Inside The Newbury Hotel

Winnie's favorite flowers are peonies and fragrant roses so it was only natural that she incorporate them into the day. White and pink roses paired with the peonies made for the most gorgeous bouquet. The bouquet complemented Winnie’s elegant and classy wedding gown with the most breathtaking, intricate train of delicate lace.

After popping a bottle of champagne with her besties by her side, Winnie shared a first look with her father. Wearing dragon and phoenix golden bangles that she received from her father as a family heirloom, father and daughter shared special moments together that will never be forgotten.

The Groom

Steve was sharply dressed in a navy and black tuxedo. He shared a meaningful toast with his groomsmen who kept him calm and relaxed the entire day.

A Joyful First Look Outside The Newbury Hotel

I love asking my couples what it was like for them during their first look together. No one ever forgets the moment they first see their soon to be spouse. Winnie and Steve shared, “We were both nervous and tired and then when the moment came, we were taken over by emotions. Then it just became fun with a bunch of nerves. We both had thoughts of "OMG, this is seriously happening" through the entire day as it progressed closer and closer until the time of the ceremony.”

The Bridal Party

What a wonderful bridal party Winnie and Steve had. Love and laughter filled the air as we captured full bridal party portraits outdoors before the wedding ceremony took place. The blush bridesmaids dresses flowed so beautifully and complemented the navy and black tuxes worn by the groomsmen. It meant the world to both Winnie and Steve to have their favorite people by their side offering such wonderful love and support.

The Newbury Hotel Wedding Ceremony

The Newbury Hotel wedding ceremony was indoors, and the room looked beautiful. Florals adorned tall pillars creating the space where Winnie and Steve would share their vows. Candles lined the floor creating a romantic setting. There were tears and laughter during this intimate ceremony. The couple shared that it was important to them to learn and understand how they can grow together and make each other stronger as a team. Together, they find great comfort knowing they can share everything and never have to worry about doing anything alone.

Wedding Reception inside The Newbury Hotel

What a wedding reception! All of Winnie and Steve’s dream came true on this spectacular night. That evening, when the first dance was over, Winnie and Steve felt there were able to eat, dance and relax! Some of their favorite moments included their first dance and all the creative and funny speeches that were made during the toasts. They really enjoyed the parent’s welcome speech which set the tone for the evening. The energy on the dance floor was undeniable! Because of Covid, many guests were unable to attend, so having their friends and family show up and keeping the dance floor popping meant the world to them.

Congratulations, Winnie and Steve! Thank you for letting Tatiana Blanco Photography be a part of your wedding journey. It was my greatest honor. Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness.
