New York Wedding Photographer | The River Cafe Wedding | Luisa and Wesley

… WHAT TB COUPLES ARE SAYING…

I was in search of the absolute best photographer in Boston and I did not want to settle for anything less. Photos are the only thing you get to take with you after your wedding day. I came across Tatiana’s work on instagram and from there reached out to her. Immediately once I spoke with her on FaceTime, I knew my search had ended for a photographer. From the start was helping me with ideas for a perfect place for our engagement photo location.

From our engagement shoot to our wedding, I was blown away with our photos. Tatiana creates timeless photos that will forever show a moment in time where love caused time to stand still. She does not shy away from taking risks to capture the perfect picture. On our wedding day it was raining at times and there was no sun but of course the photos did not reflect that. The lighting was perfect and you could not tell we were standing in misting rain to get these photos. Tatiana is so professional and directs everything, I did not have to worry about a thing. She also worked seamlessly with my videographer and we adored the team she brought with her that day.

Tatiana is a true artist and her shots are magazine worthy. I’ve never seen someone work so hard, shooting effortlessly for hours and just keep going because she truly cares. To top it off, our entire bridal party and families were talking about how amazing she was the whole weekend. I feel lucky to know her and to call her not only my photographer but now a friend.

If you are looking for photos that will exceed your expectations then you need Tatiana, you need her camera, her eyes, and her love for her clients.

We were so lucky to have found Tati!! Like many of her reviews mention, she is a world-class photographer and so much more. Her energy is incredible and she is dedicated to professionalism and delivering the most beautiful photos. She is also super personable and a good person to have on your team during the planning process. Tati even traveled to our venue for our rehearsal so she could meet our wedding party prior to the wedding. She was calling everyone by name by the day of the wedding. My Wife and I are typically not big fans of having our photos taken, but she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Tati is amazing and will help you remember the moments of your special day in the most beautiful way.

RIVER CAFE WEDDING photographer

Hi there,

Luisa and Wesley had the most stunning wedding in Brooklyn, New York at The River Cafe. This venue is a gorgeous enclosed glass pavilion that overlooks the skyline of New York and offers an elegant and beautiful setting. Luisa and Wesley first met through Tinder in Boston and have been together for seven years. They also have the most romantic proposal story. One evening after Luisa was exhuasted from studying, Wesley had asked her to come out to their balcony for a drink. He asked her to look off into the distance at something and when she turned back to look at him, he was on one knee with the most beautiful ring Luisa had ever laid eyes on.

After their proposal, Luisa contacted me since she was familiar with my work. It was in Boston that I met Luisa, she works for the Brigham and Women's Hospital and learned about my services from another department within the hospital. I cover many hospital events as well as corporate headshots. I was hired to cover her boss's photos, and that is how we became acquainted with one another. She told me that when she became engaged, she would like to hire me. Around the same timeframe, both of us moved to Miami, and we then agreed on The Ringling Museum for the location of their engagement session which is about 4 hours away from Miami. You can see their engagement session here. Since getting to know Luisa, I’ve created such a beautiful friendship with her, which I always love to do with my clients prior to their wedding day.

Getting Ready With The Bride at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge

Luisa had such a wonderful time getting ready with her bridesmaids and sharing champagne together. She had the most stunning wedding dress! Luisa knew she wanted a timeless wedding dress and the second she tried on her Pronovias dress, she knew it was the one for her. It had intricate beading in the bodice and all throughout the train, but still managed to hold onto very classic and simple elements that she loved at the same time. Paired with the veil, Luisa said she felt like a princess on her wedding day. There is no doubt that she absolutey did look like a princess!

Getting Ready With The Groom at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge

Wesley also had a great time getting ready for the day with his groomsman, and he looked charming in his blue suit. The rooms were phenominal at this location, and both suites had the best natural lighting for getting ready portraits. After getting ready, Wes and his groomsman shared some shots together of Mezcal OAX Original.

Bride & Grooms First Looks Outside of 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge

Luisa and Wesley’s first looks outside of 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bride was nothing short of romantic. Both Luisa and Wesley were very nervous to see each other on the morning of the wedding. They had both been running around doing a few last minute things for the wedding, which they felt was a good distraction. Time seemed to finally slow down the moment they had first saw each other. After taking in the moment, they laughed and started making jokes because that's what they always do! You could truly tell how in awe Wesley was of Luisa, and just how special and intimate this moment was for the two of them.

Bridal Party Photos in Brooklyn, NY

I absolutely loved the way the couples bridal party photos turned out. As the wedding was in Brooklyn, I drove from Boston to NYC a day before and scouted all locations as I typically do. My first stop was the hotel where the bridal party would get ready and scouting the venue and potential locations for the first look. Arriving in the city and experiencing the energy and new location was a wonderful experience. My attention was immediately drawn to the carousel area, as well as the unique and inspiring views from the venue. We of course had to get some photographs at each location.

A Beautiful Ceremony at The River Cafe in Brooklyn, NY

Luisa and Wesley’s ceremony at The River Cafe in Brooklyn, NY was like no other. Wes and Luisa knew they wanted their wedding to be magical, and they just knew The River Cafe would be the perfect venue for that with skyline views of Manhattan. Luisa and Wes are also major foodies, and The River Cafe has amazing cuisine, so it was an easy choice as their venue. Luisa said that The River Cafe team truly brought her visions to reality for her wedding. During the ceremony, she walked down the aisle to “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri, which was so beautiful. Both Wesley and Luisa felt that the most sentimental moment of their day was Luisa walking down the aisle. For Luisa, she loved being walked down by both her mother and father and seeing Wesley waiting for her. Wesley felt the same in seeing his beautiful bride walking towards him, and it was such a beautiful moment to capture for them.

Bride & Groom portraits in Brooklyn, NY

And of course, we had to get some stunning shots of just the bride and groom with the views of Brooklyn as their backdrop. Theres just something about this city that’s so beautiful. From the Brooklyn Bridge, to the architecture in the back, I loved every detail.

An Elegant Outdoor Cocktail Hour at The River Cafe in Brooklyn, NY

Both Wesley and Luisa said they were looking forward to having fun with their closest family and friends. They say it’s so rare that they get to have everyone together in one place, just laughing and having a good time, and enjoying amazing food together, so their cocktail hour was the perfect start to the rest of their wedding night. Luisa and Wesley also said it was an amazing experience to walk into the venue for the first time together and seeing the beautiful decor. It was exactly what Luisa had envisioned in her head for their wedding night.

An Elegant Wedding Reception at The River Cafe

Luisa’s wedding decor was absolutely breathtaking. Everything about it was classic, timeless, clean, and simple. Luisa had wanted the floral arrangements to be the focus of the tables, but she didn’t want them to clutter the table or block the view of the person sitting across from her guests. With that in mind, she chose high but narrow vases that really showcased the beautiful white orchids and that reflected the warm glow of the candlelight. It was truly such an elegant and romantic ambience and perfect for their reception. Luisa loved that she was able to keep it classic and simple with her decore because of the beautiful Manhattan skyline in the background. The couple also loved their first dance to "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons because they were able to share a private moment together. During the last half of the song, they had everyone come and join them on the dance floor. Luisa said that being on the dance floor and turning to see everyone else having just as much fun as they were was something that they will never forget!

Congratulations to Luisa and Wesley! This beautiful couple is looking forward to being married and having many adventures together, and I’m so excited for them! Thank you for letting Tatiana Bianco Photography be a part of your wedding day! I wish you both the very best and many happy years to come.
