New England Wedding Photographer | The River Club

…what TB couples are saying…

We were so lucky to have found Tati!! Like many of her reviews mention, she is a world-class photographer and so much more. Her energy is incredible and she is dedicated to professionalism and delivering the most beautiful photos. She is also super personable and a good person to have on your team during the planning process. Tati even traveled to our venue for our rehearsal so she could meet our wedding party prior to the wedding. She was calling everyone by name by the day of the wedding. My Wife and I are typically not big fans of having our photos taken, but she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Tati is amazing and will help you remember the moments of your special day in the most beautiful way.

New England Wedding Photographer

Hi there,

As a New England wedding photographer, I have the privilege of photographing couples in the dreamiest of places. The River Club located in Groton, Massachusetts was no exception. Laura and Miguel also wanted to capture the beauty of The Scituate Lighthouse for their first look and couple portraits. This couple was really special to me, because like myself, Miguel was from Spain. Both of their families were so kind, warm, appreciative and welcoming. It was such a joy to get to know everyone who held such a special place in both Laura and Miguel’s heart.

All in the Details

Laura and Miguel wanted a wedding that was timeless and classic. They choose a theme that was rustic, spring and coastal. Laura was a vision in her wedding gown from Alexandra’s Boutique. Laura loved the details, especially the horizontal ribbons on the rib cage. The portrait neckline was a favorite feature of her wedding gown. Laura incorporated a garter that was used by her grandmother and subsequently all the women in (and married into) her father’s family. Laura watched both her cousin and sister wear it on their wedding day, so it was really special that Laura wore it too. Laura’s grandmother passed away last September so it felt like her grandmother was still part of her big day.

With bridesmaids in dusty blue dresses, they cheered Laura on every step of the way as she got ready to marry the man of her dreams. In their matching, monogrammed shirts, the bride tribe popped a bottle of champagne. Joy and laughter filled the room as these friends reminisced about all the amazing memories they have shared together.

The Groom

Miguel was dashing in his gray suit. He was touched by the love letter Laura had written him. Michael was so grateful for his friend and family that had traveled from so far away to celebrate with him and stand by his side! It meant so much to both Laura and Miguel to have all their favorite people together in one place. They were looking forward to having so many important people in our lives all together in one place.

First Look at The Scituate Lighthouse

Old Scituate Light also known simply as Scituate Light was the perfect place for Laura and Miguel’s first look. This historic lighthouse located on Cedar Point in Scituate, Massachusetts is stunning. It was such a lovely backdrop for their intimate first look and couple portraits. After seeing each other for the first time, they felt a rush of excitement then a calm relief. Miguel’s father surprised this lovely couple with a Rolls Royce to take them to The River Club for wedding party photos before the ceremony began.

The Wedding Party

The wedding party was there to cheer Laura and Michael on all day long. There was no shortage of laughter while we roamed the grounds at The River Club for portraits.

The River Club Wedding Ceremony

Laura and Miguel always dreamed of an outdoor wedding ceremony at The River Club. The loved the historical provenance and the overall aesthetics of the venue. One of their favorite place inside The River Club is the library and the books!

This sweet, bilingual ceremony touched the hearts of everyone present. Miguel beamed when he saw his bride walking down the aisle. When they were finally hand in hand, side by side, they were laughing and embracing these incredible moments. They were so looking forward to making new memories together as husband and wife. Knowing they would be at each other’s side for the major milestones and the everyday moments to come was everything to them!

New England Wedding Reception at The River Club

What a party this reception was! When the bride and groom take the lead on the dance floor and are having fun, the guests join right in. Laura and Miguel absolutely loved seeing their guest dance the night away and have such a blast. All the kids were dancing together and their parents were ruling the dance floor. They had an Hora Loca with music from a Panamanian Murga band that Miguel’s mom and sister arranged. Everyone had a blast with props! Miguel’s mom had Laura’s big crown custom-made in Panama. It was beautiful! No doubt, this reception was filled with guest who absolutely adored this couple.

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Sastre. Your wedding was a dream! Thank you for letting Tatiana Blanco Photography be a part of your special day. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness ahead.
